Testing and evidence

Documentation and external communication

  • Maintain an up-to-date accessibility statement with contact workflow.
  • Keep VPAT/ACR artifacts aligned with current product state.
  • Publish limitations and planned remediation transparently.
  • Train support and customer-success teams on accessibility intake.

Common implementation limitations

  • Automated scanning alone does not satisfy full conformance verification.
  • Legacy component libraries often need targeted remediation before scale.
  • Vendor dependencies may introduce accessibility regressions outside your direct codebase.
  • Without trend tracking, teams can fix defects but still lose compliance over time.
